Ken Jackola is the Conservative Leader We Can Trust

A life long conservative and the leader we need

A retired combat veteran and a lifelong resident of Lebanon, Oregon, Ken Jackola brings years of business and local government experience to his campaign to represent the communities of eastern Linn and southeast Marion Counties.

Mayor of Lebanon

Ken was elected Mayor of Lebanon in 2022 on a principled conservative platform and continues to serve in that role. He understands that in Salem all too often rural voices are drowned out by Portland politicians.

Ken is committed to ensuring that rural voices are heard in our State Capitol.

Service in Uniform

Ken served his country in the United States Army for four years before joining the Oregon National Guard.

The tradition of Military service runs deep in Ken’s family. Starting with his maternal grandfather Martinez who entered military service with the U.S. Army in the latter part of World War 2 and served until the war’s end Ken’s family has a proud tradition of serving the United States in uniform. Ken’s father served the country from the late 1950’s until the early 1960’s with the U.S. Navy.

The tradition has not ended with Ken. He and Shellie’s sons have also stepped up to serve in the United States Army as infantryman.

Ken’s service in the military includes deploying to Panama, Iraq, and Afghanistan, rising to the rank of  Command Sergeant Major in his 25 year career.

Ken has twice been the recipient of the Combat Infantryman’s Badge (Cold War Era & the War on Terror), the Bronze Star, the Afghanistan & Iraq Campaign Medals, and the Legion of Merit.

A Local Business Leader

After returning home Ken ran his family’s trucking business and stayed active in his local community. He is currently the Vice President of the Albany & Eastern Railroad Company and a member of the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce.

Family Values

A life long resident of Lebanon, Ken graduated from Lebanon Union High School before joining the United States Army. He and his wife Shellie, raised their children here and are proud to watch their grandkids grow. Their sons have also stepped up to serve our country as infantrymen in the United States Army.

Ken is fighting to protect the family values and we hold dear in rural Linn and Marion Counties.
